Federalism and the Recognition of Differences

Our present system failed to recognize the differences that our country presently have. How for instance could one single policy be made to fit the different cultures we have? It is like saying that we shall all wear only one size of T-shirts, in which case it may fit some but not others. It may be too loose or too tight for them.
In a federal system, every state is empowered to create laws to fit their culture, or to fit to what they are. (Please read again Question & Answer No. 10).

Our differences are what we are. A person’s difference is his uniqueness and is what he is. Furthermore, we don’t differ only in culture. We also differ in climate, natural resources, human resources, population, and business activities.
While we should adapt to modernity and advancement, we should also preserve our culture. We should preserve our past because that is what we are. It is by having a state government with some of the highest governmental powers that we could effectively preserve our past. We still do not have that state as of this time. We deserve a state.
